Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, highlighting daily specials and upselling opportunities Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and providing personalized recommendations based on culinary experience and preferences Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation protocols during food handling, prep, and serving Assist with bussing tables, resetting stations quickly during busy hours, and supporting host/hostess duties as needed Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation and presentation standards Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales upselling strategies Experience with serving tools such as trays, silverware, glassware, and cleaning supplies Knowledge of the food industry trends including food presentation, guest relations, and hospitality best practices Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding service in a lively atmosphere.
