Food Handler Certification Full Job Description Description:

Follow checklists and standard operating procedures. Perform duties as assigned. Demonstrate competency as outlined in the training schedule. Provide the highest level of service in accordance with our standards.

Primary Job Functions:

Communicate with guest to compile food and drink order. Answer guest questions about food, beverages, and our facilities accurately and in a friendly manner. Key guest's food and drink order into POS system. Serves alcoholic beverages in an appropriate manner consistent with company standards. Develops relationships with guests. Identifies food orders when ready and delivers items to tables in a timely manner. Communicates with food and beverage staff to ensure guest satisfaction. Ensures that guests have a positive and memorable experience at Hoffbrau Steaks. Make appropriate change when necessary. Process credit card transactions in accordance with company standards. Maintains full knowledge of menus, recipes, and other pertinent information. Constantly increasing knowledge of food, beverages, and other products and services. Does side work during non-busy hours. Maintains a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area. Prepares work area for opening, mid-shift, or closing in accordance with company standards. Performs additional responsibilities, as requested by the management team. Responsible for constant sanitation, organization, and proper food handling.

Requirements:

Job Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age. Must clearly speak and write English. Required to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and some holidays. Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds. Required to purchase appropriate uniform upon hiring. Required to stand, walk, lift, climb stairs and bend for long periods of time. Must be able to change kegs out when necessary. Testing Required:

Maintains a current TABC serving permit and food handler's permit. Must be able to follow appropriate serving practices as outlined by TABC and company policy
