Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive seating assistance as needed Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in sales transactions processing Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, offering recommendations, and ensuring overall satisfaction Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining preferred Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Culinary experience or food industry background is highly advantageous Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Ability to process cash handling accurately and manage sales transactions smoothly Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Basic math skills for bill calculations and inventory management Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation practices required Previous experience with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding liquor laws is preferred Hospitality or host/hostess experience is a plus for providing seamless guest experiences Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality.
