The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong understanding of food safety and handling, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented atmosphere. Experience in fine dining or the food industry is highly desirable, as you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests. Candidates must be available to work on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining high standards of service. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and presentation. Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math calculations for guest checks. Assist with hosting duties as needed, providing excellent guest relations at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required; fine dining experience is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is a plus. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential. Basic math skills for cash handling and check processing. Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
