Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. As a vital part of our hospitality experience, you will deliver exceptional guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and assist with food and beverage selections. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions efficiently while handling cash safely and accurately. Upsell menu items including wine, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling practices. Support the team by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and assisting with food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed. Build positive guest relations through attentive service, personalized recommendations, and friendly communication. Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Collaborate with colleagues to create a lively atmosphere that promotes guest enjoyment in both casual and fine dining settings. Qualifications Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous. Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally. Demonstrated ability in multitasking, time management, and maintaining composure during busy periods. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices essential for maintaining hygiene compliance. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
