Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate drink and food orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing sales transactions efficiently Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring proper presentation and quality standards Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue through effective suggestive selling techniques Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments swiftly and securely Assist with bar setup, restocking supplies, and cleaning duties to ensure a well-organized workspace Qualifications Proven experience in food service or beverage industry, including bartending or cocktail experience preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and beverage service standards in fine dining or nightclub environments Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations professionally Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards in food industry settings Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality roles that involve serving, bussing tables, or host/hostess duties is advantageous Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels memorable moments!
