Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and drinks. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions. Serve food, cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with professionalism and flair, maintaining proper drink service etiquette. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Manage cash handling efficiently, including processing payments and giving correct change while adhering to cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all serving areas, including food handling and beverage stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate guest preferences or special requests clearly. Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of beverage service, cocktail mixing, spirits, wine varieties, and food safety protocols. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations professionally. Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management and organization skills. Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately. Previous experience in food preparation, bartending (OpenTable experience is a plus), or serving roles is highly desirable. Knowledge of sanitation standards, food handling procedures, and hospitality best practices.
