Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a keen eye for detail. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with a friendly demeanor. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Assist with bussing tables, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for new guests. Maintain knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, concerns, or special requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Uphold the restaurant's standards of fine dining service at all times. Requirements Previous experience in food service or fine dining is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining a safe dining environment. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while also being self-motivated. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with guests and team members effectively.
