Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen and bar staff Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options, demonstrating cocktail experience and beverage knowledge Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales revenue through suggestive selling techniques Process all sales transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and managing tabs via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables promptly and adhering to food safety protocols Assist with food preparation when necessary and support kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure timely service Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction Support sanitation efforts by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining a clean work environment in compliance with health regulations Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery in various settings such as fine dining or nightclub environments Qualifications Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality settings; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is advantageous Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to build guest rapport Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices in food handling Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant schedule Experience with food preparation or kitchen support roles is beneficial but not mandatory Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences in a lively environment!
