Job Overview We are looking for dependable, energetic, and hardworking Bussers/Food Runners to join our team at our All-You-Can-Eat sushi restaurant. This position plays a key role in delivering food promptly, maintaining a clean dining environment, and supporting servers to ensure an exceptional guest experience. Schedule Part-time, flexible shifts AM shift: 10:30am - 3:30pm PM shift: 3:30pm - close (9:30pm Sun-Thu, 10pm Fri-Sat) What you'll do Run food from the sushi bar and kitchen to the correct table and seat Check each plate against the ticket before it leaves the line Learn the menu well enough to name each dish as you set it down and answer basic questions Let servers know right away about mistakes, delays, or guest requests Know which dishes contain common allergens (fish, shellfish, soy, sesame, gluten) and send allergy questions to the server or manager Help clear plates and reset tables when the floor is busy Complete assigned side work and closing duties Requirements Must be 18 or older Texas Food Handler certification (required by state law; if you don't have one, you must complete an accredited course within 30 days of hire. It's online and takes about 1-2 hours) Able to stand and walk for a full shift, carry multiple plates at once, and lift up to 25 lbs Reliable transportation and on-time attendance Nice to have Previous food runner or busser experience Bilingual in Spanish is helpful but not required
