• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations regarding food and beverages
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Enter orders into the POS system and ensure accuracy of items and modifiers
• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction with their meals
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate to management if necessary
• Clear tables and reset them for the next guests
• Process payments and provide accurate change or process credit card transactions ```Qualifications```
• Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a positive dining experience for guests
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen safety, and sanitation practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items and promote specials
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
