Restaurant Server Position Overview We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Server to join our restaurant team. The Server is responsible for creating a welcoming dining experience by providing excellent service, taking orders, answering questions about the menu, recommending food and drinks, and ensuring customer satisfaction from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a warm, friendly manner. Present menus, answer questions, and provide detailed information on menu items, specials, and beverages. Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them clearly to kitchen and bar staff. Deliver food and beverages promptly and ensure orders are accurate. Check in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and handle any concerns quickly. Process payments (cash, credit card, POS system) accurately and efficiently. Promote and upsell menu items, daily specials, and beverages to increase sales. Assist with table setup, cleaning, and resetting for the next guests. Work collaboratively with team members and support the overall operation of the restaurant. Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean dining area. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred, but not required. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team. Basic math skills for handling payments. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Lift and carry up to 25 lbs. as needed.
