ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Dining Room Server at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will play an active role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and an exceptional dining experience throughout each meal and special event. Working collaboratively with a team, you will provide hands-on table service and assist with special event service in our Assisted Living community dining room.

YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracy Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments and beverages are always ready Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community Maintain cleanliness of Dining Room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal The certification says Great Place to Work®.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 16 years of age Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed Must be able to efficiently multi-task, be an active listener, and collaborate effectively with team members Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hands-on, hospitality oriented position Knowledge of dining etiquette and prior Restaurant Server experience is preferred Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community Please note that the above Responsibilities and Qualifications provide a general overview of the primary duties for this role and the basic qualifications.
