Flexible hours (part-time and full-time shifts available) Employee meal discounts Friendly, fast-paced team environment Key Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Guide guests through our menu, including sushi, ramen, hot dishes, and drinks Take orders accurately and input them into the POS system. Deliver food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling and preparation as needed Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, handle special requests, and address concerns promptly Requirements Valid Food Handler's Card required (or must obtain within 14-30 days of hire). Positive attitude, strong communication, and multitasking skills. Punctual, reliable, and able to work well during busy rushes. Knowledge of Japanese cuisine or prior serving experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Ability to stand and move quickly throughout shifts. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments Strong knowledge of POS systems or similar platforms Culinary experience or food industry background preferred Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of wine, spirits, beverage service, and food safety practices Ability to perform basic math accurately for processing payments and managing tabs Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that promotes guest relations Experience with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding alcohol laws is desirable
