Full Job Description Overview:

LaPluma Coffee and Wine is seeking a well seasoned, dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team! The ideal candidate is experienced, dependable, and passionate about providing an elevated guest experience, whether it's a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. This role involves creating a warm and welcoming experience for all guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling payments, and maintaining a clean work space. A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to multitask are essential.

Responsibilities:

Greet and engage guests in a friendly and professional manner Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently Deliver orders promptly with attention to presentation and service standards Operate the

TOAST POS

system for order entry and cash/card transactions Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service Upsell menu items and make thoughtful recommendations to guests Assist fellow team members during busy shifts to ensure consistent quality service

Requirements:

Previous experience in a server or food service role required. 2+years. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Able to work evenings and weekends Strong communication and customer service skills Familiarity with POS systems (TOAST preferred) Must be 21+ (due to wine service) Please do not submit an application if you do not meet these requirements.
