Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Assist guests with menu selections, including recommendations and upselling opportunities to enhance their experience Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper sanitation and food safety standards Maintain cleanliness of tables, assist with bussing and food handling tasks, and ensure the dining area remains inviting Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and timely service in a fast-paced environment Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to manage guest seating efficiently and optimize table turnover Demonstrate excellent guest relations skills to resolve issues promptly and ensure customer satisfaction in both fine dining settings and lively nightlife venues such as nightclubs Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order management Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes Culinary experience or background in food preparation is desirable but not required Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Previous host/hostess or serving experience preferred; familiarity with upselling techniques beneficial Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a dynamic environment Join our team where your passion for hospitality meets the opportunity to create unforgettable guest experiences!
