Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system. Provide detailed menu information and make recommendations based on guest preferences. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation and quality standards. Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism to enhance guest relations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Process payments accurately using the POS system, handling cash and credit transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables and service stations. Assist in training new staff members on restaurant policies and procedures as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for culinary arts and providing exceptional dining experiences is highly valued.
