We're seeking an experienced and energetic Banquet Server to create exceptional dining experiences at our coastal hotel's events and catering functions. As a Banquet Server, you will be the front-line ambassador ensuring our guests have a fantastic dining experience. You will expertly manage banquet food and beverage service from setup through breakdown. Provide friendly, attentive tableside service while anticipating guests' needs.

Responsibilities:

Review Banquet Event Orders and event sheets Conduct complete table setup, food/beverage service, and maintenance Keep buffets, action stations, and beverage services well-stocked Demonstrate menu knowledge and beverage service standards Deliver courteous and professional guest service Collaborate with culinary team and event staff Maintain clean and organized banquet spaces Follow all food safety regulations and service protocols

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Previous banquet server, catering server, or food & beverage experience Expertise in banquet service setup and food presentation Strong verbal communication and guest relations abilities Excellent multi-tasking and attention to detail Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays Food safety/alcohol service certification a plus Positive attitude and commitment to guest satisfaction

Physical Requirements:

6-8 hours Standing/Walking 3-6 hours Crouching/Bending/Stooping Lifting/Carrying (up to 40 lbs.)
