Grand Casino is a lively card room and restaurant offering an exceptional atmosphere, diverse menu, and outstanding service. We are looking for a friendly and efficient Cocktail Server to join our team, serving guests in the restaurant, bar, and casino areas.Job Summary:
As a Cocktail Server at Grand Casino, you will be responsible for taking and delivering both beverage and food orders to our guests. This role requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also perform various tasks typical of both a waitress and a cocktail server, ensuring that guests have a memorable experience.Key Responsibilities:
- Take and deliver both beverage and food orders accurately to guests in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and accommodating special requests.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the bar, restaurant, and casino floor.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down service stations, as well as restocking supplies, and completing daily side work as required.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service.
- Collaborate with other staff members, and management to ensure smooth operations and a positive guest experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often for the entire shift.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Capable of performing repetitive motions, such as serving drinks, carrying trays, and cleaning.
- Comfortable working in a busy and sometimes noisy environment.
- Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to balance and serve multiple items at once.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a casino, card room, serving or hospitality role is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and proper serving techniques is a plus.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Valid Washington State Food Worker Card required.
