Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as CAKE POS, or Micros POS. Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and food handling procedures Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns professionally and courteously Follow food safety protocols and ensure proper food handling practices are adhered to at all times Support team members with opening or closing duties as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining preferred Strong knowledge of POS systems such as CAKE POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and drink presentation techniques Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items to enhance sales performance Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry Experience in guest relations or host/hostess roles that foster welcoming atmospheres Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels unforgettable dining experiences!
