Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their breakfast experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions Serve food, beverages, and specialty drinks with professionalism, including coffee, cocktails, wine, and spirits for breakfast service Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently using POS systems; manage cash handling responsibilities responsibly Assist with food preparation or setup when needed, supporting kitchen staff in delivering quality dishes promptly Qualifications Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred, especially fine dining or breakfast service roles Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries professionally Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy breakfast hours Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Experience with beverage service including coffee, cocktails, wine knowledge, spirits experience, and drink presentation techniques Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and guest satisfaction Join us as a Breakfast Server where your energy fuels memorable mornings!
