Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized vehicles. Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Execute route driving with precision, adhering to schedules and traffic laws to ensure on-time deliveries. Handle freight securely during transit, ensuring proper load distribution and safety protocols are followed. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle inspections. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns. Requirements Valid driver license with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver, preferably with hot shot or expedited freight experience. Proficiency in operating dually truck with 40ft Goose Neck Trailer Experience driving different trailer types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is highly desirable. Knowledge of load & unload procedures and freight handling best practices. Ability to navigate routes efficiently using GPS or other navigation tools. Physical ability to load/unload freight manually or with equipment like forklifts when needed. Strong commitment to safety standards and compliance with transportation regulations.
