Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel General Manager to lead our hospitality team and oversee all aspects of hotel operations. In this pivotal role, you will drive excellence in guest services, ensure operational efficiency, and foster a welcoming environment that exceeds guest expectations. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of hospitality, managing staff, and optimizing revenue streams. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the guest experience while managing the day-to-day functions of our hotel. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, and guest services, ensuring seamless coordination and exceptional service delivery Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency, guest satisfaction, and profitability Oversee revenue management strategies to maximize occupancy rates and revenue streams through dynamic pricing and promotional initiatives Manage human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance management, and staff development to build a motivated and professional team Maintain high standards of customer service by ensuring staff adhere to phone etiquette, guest relations protocols, and hospitality best practices Oversee budgeting processes, expense control, and financial reporting to ensure the hotel's financial wellbeing Handle guest complaints or issues promptly with professionalism, ensuring positive resolutions that foster loyalty Monitor night audit procedures and ensure accurate financial reconciliation at the end of each day Manage guest expectations efficiently Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, leadership development, and continuous improvement Requirements Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervising responsibilities Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles including guest services, revenue management, human resources, and budgeting Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele effectively Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in supervising teams across multiple departments Familiarity with front desk operations, night audit procedures Experience working with Hilton or Marriott limited services hotels Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and engage guests positively Knowledge of hotel brand software systems for reservations, property management, and financial reporting Join us as we create memorable experiences for our guests through passionate leadership and outstanding service.
