Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. The Housekeeper plays a vital role in infection control, resident comfort, and overall facility appearance. Responsibilities Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, and offices according to facility standards. Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces. Empty trash and replace liners in resident rooms and throughout the facility. Launder linens, towels, and personal items as needed (may vary by facility). Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Handle cleaning chemicals safely and according to manufacturer and facility guidelines. Follow infection control protocols and universal precautions to maintain a safe environment. Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisor promptly. Provide courteous and respectful interaction with residents, families, and visitors. Support special cleaning projects as assigned. Qualifications Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred, especially in healthcare or long-term care settings. Knowledge of cleaning supplies, equipment, and proper sanitation methods. Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks. Commitment to resident rights, dignity, and confidentiality.
