Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Housekeeper/Front Desk Agent, you will be work in a hybrid role that include daily housekeeping duties maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in each of our 22 vintage camper trailer hotel rooms. The position will also include daily responsibilities assisting in ront desk/office duties alongside our other Front Desk staff. If you have a strong work ethic and enjoy creating a clean and comfortable environment, we encourage you to apply. We offer competitive hourly rates, regular bonuses, a flexible schedule, and the opportunity to work outside. All applicants must provide their own transportation. We are looking for Housekeeper/Front Desk Agents who can work at least 3 to 5 shifts per week
  • Housekeeper/Front Desk Agent shifts last from 8:30 a.
m. to 3:30 p.m. daily. and may include 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. shifts based on applicant availability and training. Applicants must be able to work on Fridays and Sundays and those with holiday availability preferred. Applicants with prior housekeeping, bed-making and front desk experience will be preferred. Hotel Luna Mystica is a growing business with a supportive and friendly team of staff members. We're excited to bring a new member to our hotel.
Responsibilities:
Housekeeping:
  • Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
  • Make beds and change linens
  • Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
  • Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
  • Follow established procedures for handling and storing cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment
Front Desk:
  • Greeting guests: Make guests feel welcome and provide the help they need
  • Answering phones: Greet guests, answer phone calls, and redirect them to the right person
  • Handling complaints: Address complaints and problems quickly
  • Maintaining records: Keep updated records and files
  • Managing inventory: Monitor office supplies and place orders when needed
  • Managing calendars: Maintain calendars and schedules
  • Processing mail: Receive letters, packages, and emails, and distribute them
  • Assisting colleagues: Help maintain security at the entrance of an organization
  • Key Holder responsibilities after training and 1-3 month review period.
Qualifications:
Housekeeping:
  • Previous experience in industrial cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality is preferred
  • Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established cleaning protocols
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as needed
  • Familiarity with floor care techniques is desirable
Front Desk:
  • Communication:
    The ability to write emails, memos, and other business documents with proper grammar, spelling, tone, and language
  • Interpersonal skills: The ability to deal with different clients and cater to their needs
  • Customer service: The ability to provide excellent customer service to guests and visitors, including being polite and helpful, and being able to deal with difficult situations
  • Professional appearance: The ability to be presentable and have immaculate dressing skills
  • Problem solving: The ability to prioritize issues and tasks and address any errors fast
  • Computer literacy: The ability to use computers to keep records, process payments, and complete other tasks, and be comfortable with the software the hotel uses Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions.
