Housekeeping Aide Position Summary To maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and associates. This is accomplished by completing the daily schedule and following established departmental policies and procedures. Works under the direction of a supervisor; being highly trained and skilled with all aspects of the Environmental Services Cleaning Procedures in Manual, Infectious Control Policies, JCAHO Standards Policies, Hazardous materials, and Institutional Waste. Educate and train Others. Performance will adhere to training, and Environmental Aide tasks. Housekeeping Aide Position Requirements Education High School diploma or equivalent preferred Basic computer skills with Data Entry capability required.

Experience :

Hospital, school, hotel, or similar facility floor care preferred. One year of experience preferred Housekeeping Aide Schedule Days, Evenings, or Nights Shifts. Will require working during the weekends and holidays. Expected to respond in the event of a disaster. Demonstrates personal responsibility for maintaining a satisfactory attendance record.
