PHARMACY MANAGER

WE ARE NOW HIRING A PHARMACY MANAGERS FOR OUR PHARMACIES IN THE BERLIN, MD AREA.

Duties:

• Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards
• Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize pharmacy operations
• Maintain accurate records of medications, inventory, and patient information
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care
• Provide counseling and education to patients on medication use and potential side effects
• Monitor medication therapy to ensure safety and effectiveness
• Resolve any issues or concerns related to medication orders or patient care

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
• Current state pharmacist license in good standing
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
• Strong leadership and management skills
