Position Summary The Lead Housekeeper & Laundry at Otis is responsible for setting the standard for cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation across the property. This role leads by example—ensuring every guest room and shared space reflects the calm, refined environment Otis is known for. In addition to daily housekeeping responsibilities, this position oversees the full laundry operation, ensuring linens are consistently maintained, organized, and available to support seamless hotel operations. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on consistency, efficiency, and team accountability. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Oversight Lead, train, and support the housekeeping team to uphold Otis standards Set daily priorities and ensure completion of all assigned rooms and public spaces Step in across roles as needed, maintaining a strong team-first mentality Support scheduling coordination and communicate staffing needs to management Ensure team accountability around cleanliness, organization, and presentation Hospitality & Brand Experience Greet and engage guests with warmth and professionalism Set the tone for thoughtful, detail-driven service across the team Identify opportunities to elevate the guest experience through small, meaningful touches Housekeeping Operations Oversee and participate in cleaning guest rooms and public areas Ensure all spaces meet Otis presentation standards at all times Monitor room readiness and maintain efficient turnover times Identify and escalate maintenance or cleanliness issues promptly Maintain organization of housekeeping carts, storage areas, and supply levels Laundry Operations & Linen Management Oversee all laundry processes including sorting, washing, drying, and folding Maintain linen inventory levels to support daily operations and peak demand Inspect linens for quality and remove damaged items from circulation Ensure laundry areas remain clean, organized, and operating efficiently Track usage and support inventory management of linens and supplies Establish and maintain systems that improve workflow and consistency Qualifications & Experience 3+ years of housekeeping experience, with leadership responsibility preferred Experience managing or supporting laundry operations Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards Ability to lead by example in a hands-on environment Organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Ability to kneel, bend, reach, and stand for extended periods Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, and around cleaning chemicals
