This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). An Addison Group client is looking for an HR Generalist!Job Responsibilities:
Run daily HR operations, including hiring, onboarding, benefits, payroll support, and leave administration Recruit, interview, and facilitate hiring for open positions in collaboration with department managers Conduct background checks and employment eligibility verifications Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs Administer HR programs related to compensation, benefits, performance management, employee relations, training, and compliance Review, track, and document compliance with required training, certifications, and continuing education Handle employee relations matters, including disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations Respond to HR-related inquiries from employees, applicants, and supervisors Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices Maintain awareness of HR trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies Support performance evaluations and may oversee daily workflow of HR staffRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required) 1+ year of human resources management experience (preferred) Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills High level of organization, attention to detail, and time management Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems preferred SHRM-CP certification a plus Why choose Addison Group?Pay:
