Job Description:
Position Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting the daily functions of the Human Resources department and serving as a key partner to employees and leaders across the organization. This role supports a wide range of HR activities including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, policy administration, benefits, compliance, training, and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, approachable, and capable of balancing administrative responsibilities with employee support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position plays an important role in supporting company culture, maintaining compliance, and helping drive organizational success.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Support day-to-day HR operations for assigned locations and departments Assist with recruiting activities including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding Conduct new hire orientation and support employee onboarding processes Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, payroll, attendance, and HR procedures Support employee relations efforts by assisting with investigations, documentation, corrective actions, and conflict resolution Maintain employee files and HR records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements Assist with performance management processes including evaluations, goal tracking, and employee development initiatives Support benefits administration including enrollments, changes, employee communications, and open enrollment activities Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies Track and maintain attendance, leave of absence, and other employee-related documentation Assist with training initiatives, employee engagement activities, and company communications Support safety, workers' compensation, and return-to-work coordination as needed Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and business information Assist with HR reporting, audits, and special projects Support organizational initiatives focused on culture, accountability, leadership development, and continuous improvement Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred 3+ years of Human Resources experience preferred Bilingual English/Spanish required Manufacturing experience strongly preferred Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations processes Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills Experience with HRIS systems; Dayforce experience preferred Proficient in
Microsoft Office Suite Base Salary:
$75,000 - $85,000
Work Environment:
This position operates in both office and manufacturing environments and may require occasional time on the production floor.
