Summary This full time Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day human resources operations across DieselCore locations. This role focuses on accurate execution, compliance, employee relations support, and HR process coordination, while partnering with leadership and managers to ensure policies and practices are applied consistently. The HR Manager serves as a central point of contact for HR administration, payroll coordination, hiring support, and employee relations, ensuring the company operates efficiently, compliantly, and professionally as it continues to grow. Job Responsibilities Human Resources Operations Maintain accurate and confidential employee records Process new hires, terminations, job changes, pay adjustments, and PTO entries Coordinate payroll submission and verify accuracy prior to processing Ensure compensation changes are implemented correctly and on time Maintain compliance with company policies and record keeping standards Hiring & Onboarding Post job openings and manage applicant tracking Screen candidates and coordinate interviews with hiring managers Coordinate background checks, drug testing, and pre-employment requirements Ensure timely and compliant onboarding for all new hires Maintain hiring documentation and onboarding records Employee Relations & Compliance Provide HR guidance on employee relations matters Support managers with disciplinary documentation and policy interpretation Assist with investigations and employee concerns as needed Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Support workers' compensation claims, unemployment claims, and related documentation Payroll, Benefits & Timekeeping Support Coordinate payroll processing in partnership with Accounting and leadership Review timecard submissions for completeness and accuracy Assist employees and managers with payroll, benefits, and timekeeping questions Support benefits enrollment and changes Policies, Procedures & Documentation Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures Maintain employee handbook and HR-related documentation Support performance review and compensation review processes Maintain organizational charts and employee directories Internal Communication & Engagement Assist with internal HR communications and announcements Coordinate employee recognition programs and morale initiatives Support company events and engagement activities as needed Qualifications 3-6 years of experience in Human Resources or HR Generalist/Manager role Working knowledge of payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations Familiarity with employment laws and compliance requirements Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Professional judgment and discretion Experience using HRIS systems Strong written and verbal communication skills SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification required Bilingual Spanish is required Work Environment & Scope Supports approximately 100 employees across multiple locations Works closely with leadership and onsite managers Primarily office-based with occasional travel to other locations
