Job Description

Job Summary The Senior Director of Employee Engagement is responsible for developing, leading, and implementing strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing employee satisfaction, retention, and overall engagement across the organization. This role involves working closely with senior leadership, HR, and other key departments to drive a positive workplace culture, foster open communication, and ensure employees are motivated and aligned with the organization's goals and values. The Senior Director will leverage data-driven insights to design innovative programs that improve the employee experience, increase organizational performance, and contribute to a thriving workplace environment. Essential Functions Designs strategies and critical initiatives to promote and enhance workplace culture and employee engagement. Develops internal communications strategies by studying human resources strategies and goals; conferring with top management; analyzing employee needs and desires. Creates annual budgets and proposals, and timelines to increase employee engagement and to sustain the employee culture. Oversees data collection to leverage metrics for analysis and applies data to support business decisions. Identifies key data trends to assess program effectiveness and program management. Recommends team specific actions to the health system and corporate leadership teams and implements agreed upon strategies to improve engagement and employees connectedness to the Company. Oversees events and activities to recognize and engage staff across the portfolio, improve outreach and enhance employee communications. Manages events to address special needs, topics and challenges facing employees and serve as an integrator by bringing the appropriate resources from the organization to the people. Leverages employee engagement survey results to develop strategic engagement activities. Provides leadership and mentorship to the HR Team. Builds and maintains strong, effective working relationships across the enterprise, including corporate entities, to support the planning and execution of events while collaborating closely with key stakeholders across teams and functions. Supports and enhances the Vision and Values of the business and complies with Standards of Behavior.

  • Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, Nursing, Business, or related field required Master's Degree preferred 7-9 years Experience in a human resources or communications role in a managerial capacity.
Demonstrated experience supporting or managing enterprise or multi-facility compliance programs, including risk assessment, investigations, training, policy development, and regulatory monitoring required Experience leading cross-functional compliance initiatives across clinical, operational, and financial functions preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strategic and Leadership Skills (Vision/Strategy, Modeling Desired Behaviors, ExecutiveAlignment, Change Management) Communication and Interpersonal Skills (Strategic Communication, Multi-Channel Messaging, Feedback Loops, Crisis Communication) Analytical and Technical Skills (Data Analysis & Interpretation, HT Technology Proficiency (Oracle), Project Management) Human Resources / Employee Experience Expertise (Program Development, Fostering Culture, Core HR Knowledge) Engagement and Pulse Survey Implementation Employee Recognition Frameworks Licenses and Certifications SPHR or
