The Role We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented PayrollBenefits Specialist with experience in certified payroll to join our growing team. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely administration of multi-state payroll and employee benefits, while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company policies. The PayrollBenefits Specialist will serve as a key point of contact for employees and management, providing knowledgeable and responsive support for payroll- and benefits-related inquiries. Ongoing training and career development. Key Responsibilities Process weekly and bi-weekly payrolls accurately and in accordance with established deadlines and applicable regulations. Maintain and administer payroll and benefits-related employee changes within the HRIS/payroll system, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Manage wage garnishments and withholding orders, including timely processing, compliance monitoring, and follow-up to ensure accurate administration. Process employee terminations in accordance with applicable federal and state final-pay requirements, ensuring timely and accurate issuance of final pay. Communicate payroll-related changes, updates, and requirements clearly and professionally to employees at all levels of the organization. Prepare and process weekly certified payroll and prevailing wage payroll for applicable projects, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. Prepare and submit required

reporting accurately and within established deadlines. Support employee benefits enrollment and related administrative processes, providing timely assistance to employees and maintaining accurate records.
What You'll Bring Education:
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated payroll experience.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience processing multi-state payroll, including experience with certified payroll requirements.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
