ABOUT THE JOB

The Benefits Analyst is responsible for the administration of the companys benefits, leave, and accommodation programs, providing a high-quality customer service experience, while ensuring compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Responsible for day-to-day administration of benefit programs such as medical, dental, vision, life, disability, flexible spending and health savings accounts

Serves as first point of contact for benefit related questions and resolves questions/issues through research and policy interpretation

Manages leave of absence process by working closely with human resources business partners and being the liaison to associated vendors, including reporting and system updates

Works with employees to guide them through enrollment and life event documentation and deadlines

Maintains qualified medical support orders

Processes life insurance and related benefit claims

Completes benefit, disability, and Medicare verifications

Review various reports and verifications to make appropriate updates (Health Spending Accounts, Wellness reporting, Variance reporting, etc.)

Supports annual open enrollment processes with system testing, communications, and employee support

Supports wellness program and implementations of new vendors

Manages and maintains COBRA subsidies

Additional Duties and Functions as assigned

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Business Administration and 3+ years in benefits administration; or equivalent education and experience

Working experience with an HR information system and benefits admin system

Experience with customer service skills and the ability to communicate with employees at all levels

Ability to handle confidential information

Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
