Job Duties:
- Administer enrollment activity and disability benefit processing for union members with a high level of accuracy and timeliness.
- Serve members through frequent phone and in-person interactions, addressing questions and resolving benefit-related requests professionally.
- Explain coverage details, program rules, and administrative procedures in a clear and member-focused manner.
- Review applications, supporting records, and enrollment documentation to ensure complete and correct benefit processing.
- Handle legal documents and related requests, including matters involving child support orders, in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain compliance with governing plan documents and benefit guidelines throughout all administrative activities.
- Partner with colleagues to coordinate efficient processing and support consistent service levels across the benefits team.
- Assist leadership with additional benefit administration tasks and special assignments as business needs evolve.
