Job Description

Responsibilities
I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for monitoring, analyzing and reporting physician and advanced practice professional (APP) compensation, productivity, financial performance, and professional billing data.
  • Functions as a resource in facilitating implementation of physician and APP compensation, inclusive of reporting and working on related projects and initiatives.
II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, and speaking, sitting.
Frequent:
walking.
    Occasional:
    standing, stooping/bending, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying usual weight of 1 pound up to 5 pounds, reaching above, at and below shoulder level.
    III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
    • Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.
    IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    A.
    EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE
    • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, healthcare or related field; or four (4) years of experience in any combination of the following: healthcare industry, financial modeling and forecasting, and/or physician revenue cycle may substituted for the educational requirement.
    B. EXPERIENCE
    • In addition to the educational requirement, three (3) years of progressive experience in healthcare or finance.
    • Experience to demonstrate: o Knowledge of the healthcare industry and working with financial systems, including, budgeting and analysis, financial modeling and forecasting and physician revenue cycle. o Knowledge of working with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
    • Experience extracting and reporting off relational database using Clarity report writer, preferred.
    • Prior direct working relationship with physicians and/or APPs, preferred.
