Job Description
What You'll Be Doing:
Administers all aspects of leave programs. Provides extensive case management and coordinates administrative aspects of the cases and claims. Conducts/coordinates investigations into all reported workers' compensation claims. Independently works with the company's carrier. Coordinates and organizes all medical information and ensures that HIPAA and Team member Privacy guidelines are closely monitored and effectively executed. Works closely with team members to ensure that all relevant completed medical documentation is submitted for timely review. Maintains appropriate contact with all associates on leave and coordinates all aspects of return to work for team members on leave. Partners closely with all HR business partners on all leave cases. Meets regularly with HRBPs to review claims' status and develop strategies for resolution. Communicates with team members on Badger benefits, answering questions and providing guidance on all benefit enrollment questions.What We're Looking For:
Associate's degree in business administration, Management or Human Resources would be preferred, or a combination or the equivalent work experience. 2+ years' experience managing leave cases. Experience in both US and Canada leave of absence management preferred. Possess comprehensive knowledge of HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).regulations, with a proven ability to handle confidential information effectively. Considerable knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Suite applications. Demonstrates strong customer service skills, adept at fostering and maintaining positive working relationships with both internal and external customers. Possesses basic knowledge of office operations principles, with the ability to apply this knowledge to solve office problems. Skilled in identifying basic issues and procedural irregularities, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions. Proficient in clear and effective verbal and written communication, ensuring clarity in all instructions. The role requires mobility within work environments, use of office equipment, lifting up to 20 pounds, clear vision and hearing, effective communication skills, and occasional travel for meetings and training sessions.
