Job Description
Employee Benefits and Leave Coordinator Full-time (37.5 hours); Exempt Monday - Friday 8am-4pm
Salary:
$70,000-$80,000 annually Hybrid-eligible after one (1) year.
Broad Function:
The Employee Benefits and Leave Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Organization's employee benefit and leave programs. This position serves as a primary resource for employees and managers regarding health and welfare benefits, retirement plans, and federal, state, and organizational leave programs. The Coordinator works closely with third-party administrators, benefit vendors, payroll, Human Resources, and management to ensure accurate administration, timely communication, regulatory compliance, and a positive employee experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field required. Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in employee benefits, leave administration, Human Resources, or a closely related area required. Demonstrated knowledge of employee benefit programs and applicable federal and New York State leave requirements. Experience working with HRIS and benefit administration systems required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience administering benefits and leaves in a healthcare or unionized environment preferred.
