We are partnering with a growing organization seeking an experienced Payroll & Benefits Specialist to oversee payroll and benefits operations across a multi-state workforce. This position will play an important role in ensuring payroll accuracy, maintaining compliance, supporting employees, and keeping HR and payroll systems running smoothly. Why This Opportunity Stands Out (Payroll and Benefits Specialist): Take ownership of payroll and benefits for a multi-location organization Excellent retirement benefits Employer-paid healthcare High level of visibility and interaction across the organization Supportive, team-oriented culture with leadership invested in your success Key Responsibilities (Payroll and Benefits Specialist): Process and oversee multi-state payroll, including deductions, garnishments, bonuses, commissions, retroactive pay, executive compensation, and payroll taxes Administer employee benefits and serve as a resource for benefits and payroll-related questions Review payroll and benefits data for accuracy through regular audits and reconciliations Research federal, state, and local payroll requirements and help ensure ongoing compliance Manage payroll tax notices, state registrations, timekeeping, 401(k) contributions, and year-end W-2 processing Maintain accurate employee information across ADP Workforce Now, UKG, and benefit carrier systems Preferred Qualifications (Payroll and Benefits Specialist): 5+ years of payroll and benefits experience preferred Strong multi-state payroll knowledge Experience with ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred Strong Excel and reporting skills Knowledge of payroll taxes, benefits administration, and compliance requirements #INSEP2026
