This vital role involves managing payroll processing, benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with relevant labor and tax laws. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills in payroll systems and accounting software, along with a passion for delivering accurate and confidential HR support. Responsibilities Process payroll accurately and efficiently using systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, or UltiPro, ensuring timely payments for all employees. Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management. Maintain and update HRIS (Human Resources Information System) data with precision and confidentiality. Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare journal entries for general ledger accounting purposes. Ensure compliance with employment law, labor law, payroll tax regulations, and governmental reporting requirements. Handle data entry related to payroll transactions, tax filings, and benefit enrollments with meticulous attention to detail. Collaborate with finance teams on accounts payable/receivable related to payroll and benefits expenses. Skills Experience with payroll systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, Kronos, or Ceridian, beneficial but not required. Experience with accounting software, including QuickBooks and other financial management tools, is valuable but not required. Knowledge of employment law, labor law compliance, and payroll tax regulations. Familiarity with HRIS platforms and time and attendance systems for accurate data management. Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining data accuracy. Excellent analysis skills for account reconciliation and financial reporting. Competence in spreadsheets (Excel) for data analysis and reporting purposes. Background in human resources or payroll management with accounting or finance experience preferred.
