We're looking for a detail-oriented Benefits Specialist to help deliver an exceptional employee experience through accurate and compliant benefits administration. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted resource for employees, manage day-to-day benefit operations, and ensure programs run smoothly across the organization. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and brings experience with benefits administration and HR systems such as Workday. Target Pay:
$24.00 What You'll Do Administer and maintain employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), ESPP, FSA, commuter benefits, and wellness programs. Process and reconcile benefit invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments to carriers and vendors. Audit benefits data between carriers and Workday to ensure employee changes are processed accurately. Support system integrations, reporting, and benefits-related configuration within Workday. Manage disability claims, COBRA administration, qualifying life events, benefit verifications, medical support orders, loss of life events, and union dues administration. Serve as a liaison between employees and benefit carriers to resolve questions and issues. Educate employees on eligibility, coverage options, enrollment changes, and benefit-related processes. Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable benefit regulations. What You'll Bring Experience supporting and administering employee benefits programs, with Workday experience preferred. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to handling sensitive information with accuracy and care. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex situations with confidence. Excellent communication skills, allowing you to explain benefits clearly and provide exceptional employee support. The ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A collaborative mindset with a passion for building positive relationships across teams and with external partners. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Familiarity with accounting concepts, reconciliations, or benefits billing processes is a plus. Total Rewards At Lithia & Driveway, we believe in pay transparency. The full compensation range for this position is $19.25-$28.85/hr, reflecting the earning potential and growth opportunities available within the role. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, job-related knowledge, and geographic location. Final pay decisions are made through the interview process and in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
