Market Analyst & Implementation Coordinator - Employee Benefits Division Packard Wheeler Succession - 1.0 Spokane Valley, WA Job Details Full-time $45,000 - $60,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Health savings account Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Employee assistance program Vision insurance Life insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Teamwork Microsoft Excel Business development Organizational skills Life & Health Insurance License Associate's degree Full Job Description Overview We are seeking dynamic and detail-oriented Market Analyst & Implementation Coordinator to join the Employee Benefits Division of our agency. This position works closely with our sales team to earn new business for our agency. The ideal candidate has a current Health & Life license and has a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the employee benefits or group insurance industry.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with sales team to develop strategies for market analysis based on the needs and experiences of the prospective client. Work with carrier partners to conduct comprehensive market research to find competitive options in the market for prospective clients. Prepare proposal documents for sales team members to take to meetings with prospective clients.
For new clients:
complete all phases of the onboarding process from Welcome Call to file close-out before transitioning them to a team member for ongoing service. Preparation of Employee Benefits Guides and other compliance materials for employer required distribution or employee education. Benefits administration portal setup for new clients that elect to utilize Employee Navigator. Detailed recording of all steps in Salesforce based CRM platform. Full strategic advisory conversations and sales conversions for Micro-group prospects (typically under 5 EEs). Weekly meetings with Sales to review all opportunities, offering status updates and action items needed.
Experience:
3-5 years minimum in Employee Benefits or Group Insurance experience Active Health & Life Insurance License. Associates Degree or higher preferred Proficiency with MS Office Suite & Adobe (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe PDF, and OneDrive) Familiarity with CRM/Customer databases and electronic recordkeeping - We use a Salesforce based platform, familiarity with that platform is a plus Excellent telephone and interpersonal relationship skills Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent ability to prioritize work across multiple projects and deadlines. Operates well autonomously and completes tasks without exceptional amounts of oversight. Strong teamwork skills. Works well under pressure and deadlines when necessary.
Compensation:
We offer compensation based on experience in the industry. Starting salary range is posted in this listing. This is a salary-based role, with opportunities to earn quarterly bonuses and overtime pay during more impacted service times. This is a full-time position with benefits offered after completing a probationary period.
