BENEFITS SPECIALIST
- Madison, WI (Contract Position
- 1 Year+) ~ Must live in Wisconsin ~ Full Time
- Weekdays from 8am to 5pm
- Hybrid Capability Upon Training Completion $20
- 25/Hr Depending Upon Experience + Benefits Available
INTERVIEWS NOW WITH OCTOBER
This could be a great opportunity to gain exposure working on contract with the State of Wisconsin Department of Employee Trust Funds. If you are a customer service-oriented individual with experience and/or the ability to communicate technical information via phone and in writing, this could be a career changing position! It is anticipated to last for a minimum of 12 months, with possible extension and/or opportunity to get your foot in the door! In this position, you will learn complex benefit program requirements for eligibility, enrollment, benefit application and distribution processes:- You will communicate with members on the phone and by sending email and/or letters.
- You will work with highly complex and sensitive data related to member demographics and benefit accounts and be responsible for updating changes.
- You will need to provide complex information in easy-to-understand formats for various audiences.
- Immediate assignments will be focused on supporting benefits administration technology modernization projects with research and remediation of data issues during conversions.
- At times, you may be assigned daily operational tasks such as processing Health, Life, Vision, and Dental Insurance including Medicare.
