About the Role We are looking for an experienced Lien Manager to lead our lien resolution and oversee the lien inventory across our workers' compensation claims portfolio. This role is responsible for team performance, lien strategy, escalated negotiations, and ensuring compliance with WCAB requirements and internal resolution targets. Key Responsibilities Manage and mentor a team of lien representatives, including training, workload distribution, and performance reviews Develop and implement lien resolution strategies to reduce inventory and control costs Handle escalated or high-value lien negotiations and disputes Partner with claims management, defense counsel, and outside vendors on lien trends and resolution tactics Monitor team metrics (lien closure rates, aging inventory, settlement costs) and report to senior leadership Ensure compliance with WCAB procedures, statutory deadlines, and company policy Identify process improvements and training needs across the lien team Qualifications 5+ years of experience in workers' compensation lien handling, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lien resolution lead capacity Strong knowledge of California WC lien law, WCAB procedures, and lien negotiation strategy Proven ability to manage a team and drive performance against inventory/cost targets Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills Experience with claims management systems and reporting tools
COMPENSATION
