Job Duties Assist with daily benefits administration and employee eligibility processes Enter and maintain employee benefit information in databases and insurance carrier websites Support new hire enrollments, payroll deduction changes, and insurance eligibility updates Answer employee benefit inquiries and resolve insurance-related issues with carriers and third-party administrators Coordinate and assist with open enrollment activities Support payroll with benefit deductions, changes, and employee requests Perform insurance billing activities and maintain accurate records Scan, file, shred, and organize confidential documents Provide receptionist phone coverage when needed Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree, business coursework, or administrative support training preferred. Experience Requirements Experience with Sage Payroll Systems required Knowledge of employee benefits administration and insurance processes Understanding of medical terminology and basic accounting practices Proficiency in Microsoft Office for Windows, including Word, Excel, and Adobe Strong customer service and administrative experience preferred Preferred Qualifications Previous experience supporting multiple departments or executive staff is beneficial. Experience with scheduling, document preparation, recordkeeping, and office coordination is preferred. Familiarity with business software, office equipment, and data entry systems is considered an asset.
