Job Description

Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, a global Am Law 100 law firm, seeks a highly qualified Counsel to join its premier Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice, working from its New York or Washington, DC office, or, for the right candidate, remotely. Candidates should have 8+ years of experience relating specifically to health & welfare benefit plans, including medical, disability, life, flexible spending accounts, health reimbursement arrangements, cafeteria plans, health savings accounts, and fringe benefit plans. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience advising clients in both M&A and counseling contexts. The firm is willing to consider a part-time or reduced hours schedule for the right candidate. All candidates must have excellent academic credentials, strong writing skills, and the ability to work well on a team. Qualified candidates should include their resume, writing sample and a copy of their law school transcript in their application. The estimated salary range for this role is $300,000-$450,000. Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to experience/job history, class/graduation year, work schedule, location and practice area of the selected candidate.
