Job Description
- Description
- The Executive Director, Total Rewards COE Leader, Americas serves as the strategic Compensation and Benefits leader for ELC's Americas region, including LATAM.
As a member of the Total Rewards Leadership Team, this role partners with Regional HR, business leaders, and COE stakeholders to shape, govern, and execute Total Rewards strategies that align with business priorities, employee experience, and enterprise objectives.
- Key Accountabilities
- 1. Total Rewards Strategy & Governance
- + Lead Total Rewards strategy across the Americas, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and regional business needs. + Provide strategic guidance on program design, governance, risk, compliance, and market competitiveness.
- 2. Regional Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement
- + Serve as the primary Total Rewards partner to Regional HR and business leaders. + Represent regional business, market, and employee insights in enterprise Total Rewards decisions.
- 3. Compensation Leadership
- + Oversee compensation strategy and governance, including pay structures, incentives, pay equity, transparency, and job architecture. + Guide annual compensation cycles and advise on complex compensation matters.
- 4. Benefits Leadership
- + Oversee benefits strategy across health, retirement, wellbeing, and employee offerings. + Partner on program design, vendor strategy, governance, and employee experience initiatives.
- 5. Strategic Projects
- + Lead or support key initiatives including M&A, policy redesign, harmonization efforts, and enterprise transformation programs. + Drive cross-functional alignment and successful implementation of complex Total Rewards initiatives.
- 6. Communications & Change Enablement
- + Partner with HR and Communications teams to develop effective messaging, tools, and enablement materials. + Support adoption and understanding of Total Rewards programs and changes across the region.
- Qualifications
- + 15+ years of progressive Total Rewards experience with deep expertise in Compensation and Benefits.
+ Experience operating in large, complex, multi-country organizations, ideally spanning the U.S., Canada, and LATAM.
+ Proven ability to shape strategy, design programs, establish governance, and influence execution through cross-functional partnerships.
+ Strong knowledge of compensation, benefits, pay transparency, pay equity, job architecture, regulatory trends, and employee experience.
+ Demonstrated success partnering with senior HR and business leaders while balancing enterprise consistency and local requirements.
+ Experience leading strategic initiatives, including M&A, program redesign, annual reward cycles, and transformation efforts.
+ Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
+ High integrity, sound judgment, and discretion handling sensitive employee and business matters.
+ Strong governance orientation with the ability to drive consistency while maintaining business agility.
