Baptist Health is hiring a Credentials Specialist to join the team at Baptist Jacksonville in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time opportunity. The Credentials Specialist coordinates a comprehensive provider credentialing program designed to support the credentialing needs of Baptist Physician Enterprise providers and the Medical Staff Office. Working under the direction of the Director, this role helps ensure credentialing activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with organizational requirements.
Credentials Specialist Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate a comprehensive provider credentialing program for Baptist Physician Enterprise providers and the Medical Staff Office Support credentialing and recredentialing activities for providers Maintain accurate credentialing records and provider information Assist with the collection, verification, and tracking of credentialing documentation Ensure credentialing processes are completed in accordance with organizational policies and applicable requirements Collaborate with providers, practice leadership, and internal departments to support credentialing needs Prepare and maintain credentialing files and related reports
Credentials Specialist Experience:
Credentialing Experience (preferred) Experience working in a hospital setting (preferred)
Credentials Specialist Education & Credential Requirements:
