Butler Senior Living is seeking an Occupancy Specialist to join our team! Butler Senior Living is a Springpoint Senior Living Affordable Housing Community located in Butler, NJ. We are seeking a Full-Time Occupancy Specialist to oversee the Occupancy responsibilities as set forth by the Department of Housing and Urban Development and Tax Credit programs.

Responsibilities:

Prepare for yearly file audits and reviews by internal and external parties. Coordinate the assignments of subsidies, unit transfers, and move out/move-ins Complete monthly tenant re-certifications. Organize and prepare resident files. Respond to tenants and applicant questions and inquires and address any issues that arise in an accurate and timely manner.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required Occupancy credentials such as Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) or Certified Professional in Occupancy (CPO) or equivalent Enterprise Income Verification (EIV) experience preferred Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) certification and experience if applicable to program Comprehensive Benefits Package (Full Time): Medical/Dental/Vision/Rx Plans Paid Time Off and Holidays 401(k) with Company Match (Once Eligible) Life & Disability Insurance Flexible Spending Accounts Voluntary Benefits (including DailyPay!)
