Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, and dependable HR Assistant to join our Human Resources team. The HR Assistant will work closely with the HR Manager to administer daily HR tasks, support recruiting and onboarding, conduct New Hire Orientation, and provide ongoing communication and support to our caregivers. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys working with people, is comfortable recruiting and interviewing candidates, and can effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional, friendly, and approachable Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Strong follow-through and attention to detail Comfortable speaking to groups and presenting information Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required Previous experience in Human Resources, recruiting, healthcare, or a related field is preferred Key Responsibilities HR & Administrative Support Complete HR-related tasks and projects as assigned by the HR Manager Enter and maintain employee and applicant information accurately Organize and maintain HR records, documents, and files Answer telephone calls, take and relay messages, and respond to routine inquiries Maintain employee confidence and protect company operations by keeping HR and employee information strictly confidential Recruiting Responsibilities Assist with the recruitment process from initial applicant contact through hire Review applications and resumes and identify qualified candidates Conduct applicant pre-screening and phone interviews Conduct interviews with applicants Communicate with applicants throughout the hiring process and provide timely follow-up Maintain accurate applicant and recruiting records Assist with job postings and other recruiting efforts Participate in job fairs, community recruiting events, and other recruitment activities Represent the company professionally when interacting with prospective employees and community partners Follow up with applicants to keep the hiring process moving efficiently Help meet recruiting and staffing goals by actively engaging with prospective caregivers Onboarding & New Hire Orientation Assist with the onboarding process for newly hired employees Collect and organize required new hire paperwork and documentation Prepare for and teach weekly New Hire Orientation Present company policies, procedures, expectations, and other required information to new employees Communicate orientation details and expectations to new hires Ensure all required onboarding steps are completed accurately and timely Help provide new employees with a positive and welcoming introduction to the company Answer new hire questions and direct them to the appropriate resources Caregiver Communication & Support Maintain consistent communication with caregivers and address questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner Assist with maintaining positive relationships with caregivers Communicate important information and updates from the HR team Help identify employee concerns and communicate them to the HR Manager Provide support and follow-up to help promote caregiver retention and engagement Schedule Requirements Rotating Saturdays are required Flexibility to participate in occasional j ob fairs, recruiting events, and other hiring activities outside of regular office hours may be required Must be able to maintain a consistent schedule and meet recruiting and onboarding deadlines If you enjoy connecting with people, recruiting great employees, and helping new hires get off to a successful start, we would love to hear from you!
